Small businesses whose annual electricity consumption is above the threshold set by the NSW Government will not be eligible for bill relief. Most eligible small businesses will receive their energy rebate automatically from their electricity provider. To qualify for the energy bill relief rebate, small businesses must have:

  • an active ABN listed on the Australian Business Register.
  • a separately metered business tariff.
  • Annual electricity consumption below the 100 MWh threshold.
